ph3Responsibilities /h3 ul liOwn the technical architecture and direction for Aeon's platform — the patient‑facing health platform, the medical partner portal, and how AI modules integrate /li liCode daily alongside the team: this is a hands‑on role, especially during the first year /li liDefine and role‑model the company software engineering culture and rituals /li liLead code reviews, technical decisions, and engineering standards /li liDrive the team's evolution toward AI‑native development — not just using AI tools, but fundamentally rethinking how we design, build, and ship software /li liRecruit, mentor and elevate newly joining team members over the coming years /li liPartner closely with the CPTO and Growth team on roadmap and architecture trade‑offs /li liWork on the transition to medical SaMD processes together with our regulatory specialist, and take ownership of GDPR and similar compliance areas /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liStrong full‑stack background with genuine technical depth /li liFamiliarity with common frontend and backend technologies, like React, Nuxt, Vue, Tailwind, Python, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, AWS /li liAn AI‑native development mindset: you have already fundamentally changed how you code because of AI, and you are eager to push the whole team in that direction /li liA hands‑on mindset /li liNatural technical authority.

People follow your lead not because of your title, but because you are consistently sharp and direct /li liStartup instinct: comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration, and wearing more than one hat /li liExperience with recruiting and leading an engineering team /li liFor applicants who want to work at our Winterthur office: Swiss work permit or Swiss/EU/EFTA citizenship is a must /li liFor applicants who want to work at our London office: You must already have the right to work in the UK (British/Irish passport, Settled Status, or other valid work visa), or currently hold a Skilled Worker visa with another employer (transfer possible).
