It requires close interaction with local (country) medical directors with respect to allocated disease area(s) (Hematological malignancies) to assure strategic dialogue considering local specifics and input as well as regional guidance. /ppbr/The Medical Director Hematology has accountability for the regional input into the product and indication strategies and works closely with local country medical directors to assure alignment across global, regional and local strategies, messaging as well as tactical implementation. /ppReports To: Executive Medical Director, Regional Medical Lead Hemato-Oncology, Medical Affairs, Europe /ppThe role includes, but is not limited to:br/• Matrix leadership in the disease areabr/• Proactive contribution to regional and global brand and disease area strategies /plipIncluding gap analyses /p /lilipIdentification of areas of interest with respect to ISR /p /lilipPublication planning /p /lilipRegional data-dissemination (e.g. company sponsored symposia, congress submissions, medical education activities) /p /lilipRegional HCP interactions / outreach (e.g. investigator meetings, advisory boards) /p /lip• Close collaboration with regional commercial teams regarding pre-launch, launch and commercialization support, assuring timely medical input and accuracy of medical / scientific content /ppbr/As a subject matter expert for the assigned disease area, the incumbent will be accountable to develop regional strategies to support enduring and compliant relationships with Opinion Leaders, Research Collaborators, and Keybr/Organizations in support of BeOne’s pipeline development across the allocated disease area.br/The incumbent will play a key role in the establishment of BeOne as a valued collaborator and best-in-class biopharmaceutical company. /ppbEssential Functions of the job: /bbr/• Establish and maintain scientifically credible peer-to-peer scientific relationships with key national regionalbr/opinion leaders in addition to other healthcare providersbr/• Viewed as a Scientific Partner by KOLsbr/• Facilitate monitor strategic partnerships with scientific/clinical experts and serve as a regional-level point of contact with organizations including but not limited to - /plipGuideline development /p /lilipCooperative groups /p /lilipOther (Regional / National Cancer institutions) /p /lip• Facilitate monitor strategic partnerships with other functional areas within BeOnebr/• Leadership in the development and execution of clinically relevant regional medical meetings (e.g., advisory boards, consultant, and investigator meetings), as requestedbr/• Develop, track, execute and report on goals and objectives.br/• Support disease area Medical Affairs budget planning and management.br/• Be accountable for compliant business practices. /ppbExperience /b:br/• MD, with relevant clinical / scientific experience in the indication fieldbr/• Minimum 7 years of experience and success within other biotech/pharmaceutical companies.br/• Track record of experience (clinical and industry) in the field of Hemato-Oncologybr/• High level of communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, organizational, and cross functional collaboration skills.br/• Flexibility to work with colleagues in a global setting.br/• Able to engage in work-related travel approximately 50%. /ppbCapabilities and Competencies: /bbr/• Impactful verbal and written communication skills.br/• Ability to effectively collaborate in a dynamic environment.br/• Strong comprehension of disease states, and knowledge of differential algorithms for treatment decisions and experience in disease states of interest to BeOne.br/• An expert understanding of the health care delivery system, including the managed care arena and its impact on patient care, regional medical care and the pharmaceutical industry.

Subject matter expertise is essential. /ppThe role is part of a matrix organization, reporting to the Executive Director Medical Affairs Europe, but with collaboration with the European Medical Affairs group, other Regional/Country Medical Directors and regional medicalbr/affairs functions as well as Global Medical Affairs and Global Clinical Development Functions.
