• Overall responsibility for Sales/Market – strategic and operational • Lead, motivate and develop the teams • Stabilize customer relationships and actively cultivate the market • Expand existing application areas and identify new ones, e.g., digitalization of measurement and control technology • Analyze market trends, competitors and customer needs • Responsible for proposal strategies, pricing and contract negotiations • Represent the company at trade fairs, conferences and industry events • Build and recruit missing key personnel for the service and maintenance business • Ensure high service quality, close customer relationships and strong market presence • Develop and scale the service portfolio • Work closely with the parent company • Be responsible for budget, target achievement, business development and operational excellence • Develop and maintain the product and service portfolio • Together with another Managing Director, take responsibility for the technical service division of the corporate group across three sites Requirements • Leadership experience as Head of Sales, Managing Director or Division Manager in an industrial environment with a focus on market and sales • Degree in engineering, e.g., mechanical engineering, process engineering or electrical engineering, or industrial engineering with a technical focus • Knowledge of industry, service/engineering or MSR technology (measurement, control and regulation technology) • Proven experience building and developing service organizations • Sales experience in technically demanding services • Experience managing multiple sites and heterogeneous teams • Strong business administration and strategic skills • Excellent product management skills for services and technical products • Strong negotiation and communication skills • Strong customer orientation and a good sense for market changes and trends • Entrepreneurial personality with healthy ambition and a hands‑on mentality • Strong leadership abilities, willingness to take responsibility and ability to provide direction • High social competence, stability and reliability • Enthusiasm, an inclusive and motivating demeanor • Strong implementation skills, pragmatic and solution‑oriented working style • Resilience, decisiveness and a strong sense of responsibility • Analytical skills and market understanding • Straightforward, open and trustworthy personality • Results‑oriented with a strong track record and willingness to get hands‑on across the entire value chain • High self‑initiative and result orientation • Native German language skills and very good English skills • Willingness to travel more than 50% domestically and internationally Core Competencies Demonstrates strong leadership and strategic skills in sales and market development, with a focus on building service organizations and managing multiple sites.
