As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding professionals in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway. /ph3The Opportunity /h3pThe Finance Director Europe Midsize Markets is the senior finance leader for the European Europe Midsize Markets Region (covering Switzerland, Austria, Netherlands, BeLux, the Nordics countries, Poland and the distributors’ markets), serving as the strategic business partner to the VP GM Europe Midsize Markets and their leadership team, and Country Managers while acting as the primary interface between the local business and the European Finance organization.
The role ensures the successful delivery of finance operations through regional shared service teams and external partners, while providing financial leadership to the European Midsize Markets across planning, performance management, governance, statutory compliance, and business decision support.
The Finance Director plays a critical role in enabling standardized finance processes across Europe while ensuring local business needs and regulatory requirements are effectively addressed. /ph3Finance Leadership Business Partnership /h3ulliServe as the primary finance representative and trusted advisor to the General Manager and the local Leadership Teams. /liliPartner with Commercial, Medical, Market Access, HR and other business functions to support strategic and operational decision-making. /liliProvide financial leadership to support commercial execution, launch readiness, resource allocation and investment decisions. /liliEvaluate business cases, contracts and strategic initiatives, providing objective financial recommendations. /liliPromote financial discipline and accountability across the Europe Midsize Markets. /li /ulh3Regional Finance Coordination /h3ulliAct as the primary operational finance interface between the Europe Midsize Markets Region and the European Finance Shared Service organization. /liliSupport the execution of transactional finance activities delivered centrally, including General Ledger, Procure to Pay, VAT, Payroll, Revenue Accounting, FPA support and other finance operations. /liliCoordinate month-end close activities between local stakeholders and regional finance teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. /liliEnsure efficient resolution of finance operational issues impacting the Europe Midsize Markets. /liliBuild collaborative relationships with Corporate Finance, Shared Services and external service providers to ensure seamless finance operations. /li /ulh3Planning, Performance Decision Support /h3ulliLead preparation of the annual budget (Revenue/Demand and expenses), re-forecasts, three-year operating plan and cash-flow forecasts. /liliCoordinate development and monitoring of the country Profit Loss statement, operating expenses and headcount plans. /liliChallenge business assumptions and support scenario planning and financial modelling. /liliMonitor financial performance, KPIs, risks and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to leadership. /liliSupport business growth through robust financial analysis and performance management. /li /ulh3Revenue Gross-to-Net /h3ulliPartner with Commercial, Market Access and the Regional Revenue Accounting to develop and validate country gross-to-net assumptions. /liliProvide local market insights supporting rebates, discounts, returns and other revenue adjustments. /liliReview and challenge gross-to-net estimates to support accurate financial reporting. /liliSupport revenue forecasting, variance analysis and commercial performance reviews. /li /ulh3Statutory, Compliance Governance /h3ulliCoordinate preparation and review of local statutory financial statements with regional accounting teams and external service providers. /liliSupport local tax compliance, statutory reporting and treasury activities. /liliAct as the primary finance contact for statutory audits, tax audits and regulatory inspections. /liliSupport legal entity governance, including Board meetings, statutory approvals and corporate compliance requirements. /liliMonitor changes in local accounting, tax and regulatory requirements and assess business impact. /liliEnsure adherence to company policies, internal controls and financial governance standards. /li /ulh3Finance Operations Continuous Improvement /h3ulliDrive continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes in partnership with the European Finance organization. /liliSupport implementation of regional finance systems, controls and standard operating procedures. /liliIdentify financial, operational and compliance risks and recommend mitigation actions. /liliContribute to the continued evolution of the European finance operating model. /li /ulh3Required Skills, Experience And Education /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional accounting qualification preferred. /lili10+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership responsibilities in a multinational environment. /liliExperience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or other regulated industries preferred. /liliStrong experience in FPA, business partnering, statutory reporting, governance and internal controls. /liliExperience operating within a regional shared services finance model is highly desirable. /liliExcellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills. /liliHands-on, analytical and proactive approach with the ability to operate successfully in a dynamic, fast-paced commercial environment. /li /ul /p ppRevolution Medicines is a late-stage clinical oncology company developing novel targeted therapies for patients with RAS-addicted cancers.
