As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding professionals in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway. /p h3The Opportunity /h3 pThe Director, Epidemiology, Europe is responsible for leading the execution of epidemiology plans and activities supporting Revolution Medicines assets across the product lifecycle.
The Director will serve as the epidemiology subject matter expert on cross-functional teams, providing scientific leadership and epidemiologic expertise to support evidence generation activities throughout the product lifecycle. /p pReporting to the Executive Director, Epidemiology, the Director will work closely with both regional and global stakeholders to ensure alignment of epidemiology plans with clinical development, regulatory, safety, and evidence generation objectives.
Deliverables may include burden of illness studies, unmet need assessments, incidence and prevalence estimates, patient population assessments, natural history studies, treatment pattern studies, healthcare resource utilization analyses, external comparator studies, trial contextualization studies, and other epidemiologic evidence supporting regulatory submissions, orphan drug designation applications, HTA, Joint Clinical Assessment (JCA), reimbursement, and market access activities. /p pThe Director will closely partner with Global Patient Safety to provide epidemiologic context to potential safety signals, contribute to benefit-risk assessments, and support the design and execution of post-approval safety studies globally.
The Director will also contribute to the continued development of epidemiology best practices, standards, and operating procedures within the Epidemiology and RWDA function. /p h3Required Skills, Experience and Education /h3 ul liPhD / DSc / DrPH in epidemiology or a relevant advanced science degree and at least 10+ years of epidemiology or pharmacoepidemiology experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, regulatory, academic, or healthcare research environment. /li liDemonstrated technical knowledge of pharmacoepidemiologic methods and real-world oncology data sets as well as the use of appropriate biostatistical methods. /li liExperience supporting evidence generation activities across clinical development, regulatory, safety, or market access functions. /li liExcellentanalyticandproblem-solving skills. /li liExcellent attention todetailandquality, andscientific rigor. /li liStronginterpersonal skillsandthe abilitytowork effectivelyinmatrix teams. /li liDemonstrated scientific communication skills, including authorship of peer-reviewed publications and scientific presentations. /li liExperience working effectively within global, cross-functional, matrixed organizations. /li /ul h3Preferred Skills /h3 ul liExperience in oncology epidemiology or oncology pharmacoepidemiology within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. /li liExperience designing and conducting burden of illness studies, natural history studies, treatment pattern studies, external comparator studies, trial contextualization studies, or other real-world evidence studies. /li liExperience supporting regulatory submissions, orphan drug designation applications, HTA, Joint Clinical Assessment (JCA), reimbursement submissions, or market access activities. /li liFamiliarity with oncology electronic health record, claims, registry, and/or clinico-genomic data sources. /li liExperience working within global development programs and cross-functional matrix organizations. /li /ul /p ppRevolution Medicines is a late-stage clinical oncology company developing novel targeted therapies for patients with RAS-addicted cancers.
The company’s RAS(ON) inhibitors daraxonrasib (RMC-6236), a RAS(ON) multi-selective inhibitor; elironrasib (RMC-6291), a RAS(ON) G12C-selective inhibitor; zoldonrasib (RMC-9805), a RAS(ON) G12D-selective inhibitor; and RMC-5127, a RAS(ON) G12V-selective inhibitor, are currently in clinical development.
The individual will work across Clinical Development, Global Patient Safety, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, RWE/HEOR, Market Access, and Commercial functions to provide epidemiologic expertise and deliver epidemiologic evidence that informs development, regulatory, reimbursement, and market access decision-making.
The role will serve as the primary epidemiology lead supporting Europe-based epidemiology evidence generation activities while ensuring consistency with global epidemiology strategy and development priorities. /p pThe Director will serve as the regional epidemiology lead for assigned assets and indications, ensuring epidemiology evidence generation activities are aligned with clinical development, regulatory, safety, HTA, reimbursement, and market access objectives.
