• Independently acquire new customers through inside sales and expand the regional customer portfolio • Build, maintain, and continuously develop a robust sales pipeline • Analyze individual customer needs on-site and develop tailored logistics and transport solutions • Systematically document all sales activities in the CRM system • Prepare cost calculations and quotations for new and existing customers • Communicate with sales teams at other branches • Prepare tender submissions • Represent DFDS as a reliable partner for customized transport and logistics solutions • Work closely with Operations and Customer Service Requirements • Completed vocational training or an equivalent qualification, ideally in freight forwarding, transport, or logistics • Experience in international road transport preferred • Initial professional experience in sales • Excellent communication skills in German and English • Results-oriented, with strong negotiation skills, flexibility, integrity, and a pronounced customer focus • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office • Experience with Microsoft CRM is desirable Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in acquiring new customers and expanding sales portfolios within the logistics and transport sector, with a strong focus on tailored solutions and customer needs.
