For the expansion of our Global Market Access Team, argenx is looking for a Market Access MG Lead.PURPOSE OF THE FUNCTIONIt is an exciting time of growth for argenx as we strive to achieve our VISION 2030.

The argenx Global Market Access team works across all countries, including US, Developed Markets and Japan, and in close collaboration with other functions and with local country teams.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDetermines early market access potential, pricing and strategy for pipeline indications and assets including indication sequencing, TPP, and TPLWork with Indication Development Teams (IDTs) to optimize trial designs so they reflect payer requirements, by incorporating feedback and needs from regional AccessCoordinate Early Scientific Advice from key HTA Agencies and conduct gap analyses with external consultantsWork with Indication Commercial Teams (ICTs) to align Access and Commercial positioning, pricing and strategyAssess unmet need, outline payer value proposition, assess PR / HTA landscape and product outlookInform development of global pricing strategy and policyTest payer value messages, pricing expectations, and value proposition via Advisory Boards and research with payers / HTADevelop core value dossier and objection handlerDevelop innovative access strategies on a global and regional level incl. early access, and evaluate implications for launch (go, no-go risk mitigation and scenario planning)Build out and validate contracting options and G2N assumptionsPartner with HEOR and Regional Access to optimize the evidence generation plan, identify epidemiology and the unmet medical needInform the development of health economic and outcomes analyses (CEA, BIA, burden of disease, etc.) required for access, working in collaboration with internal cross‑functional teamsFacilitate launch readiness workshops with regional and local Market Access and other functionsSKILLS AND COMPETENCIESHave experience and deep understanding of payer needs, decision-making approaches, strategies, and country reimbursement stakeholders and influencers in US and/or key EU marketsExperience in developing global and regional pricing and market access strategies and researchExperience working with clinical development teamsExperience working within launch and commercialization teams for therapies in the orphan and rare disease spaceExperience effectively managing external agency partners, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and internal/external stakeholders to effectively implement strategies and programsHighly organized, with demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities under pressureAbility to grasp highly technical concepts and to work within a deeply scientific environment; Exceptional learning agility, demonstrated by advancement in prior roles/companiesAbility to work collaboratively and effectively together within cross-functional teams and networksDemonstrated communication skills, within a multi‑cultural and multi‑lingual global environmentIs agile and demonstrates adaptability, comfort with ambiguity, trust‑building, and resilienceDrives toward outcomesAmbitious, inquisitive naturally, a quick study, with demonstrated eagerness to continuously learn, self‑improve and develop.

This includes being comfortable giving and receiving feedback in a diverse environment.Passionate and prepared to lead and contribute to our culture, which is driven by our corporate values of co‑creation, innovation, empowerment, excellence, and humility.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE7+ years of relevant industry experience in biotech/pharma.5+ years Market Access Pricing experience specifically involving specialty drug launches in US or EuropeAdvanced graduate level training in the natural sciences, medicine, business, engineering, or finance requiredMaster’s degree in Business Administration, Health Economics, Life Sciences, or a related field.Ph.D. or MBA preferred.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross‑functional teams.Strategic and critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.Ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity and succinctly articulate complex problems and possible solutionsOTHERRegular Travel Required Fluent English language required Note: The recruiter will share the locally applicable annual base salary hiring range, provided in your country’s currency, during the recruitment process.

'Vision 2030' includes the following goals: 50,000 patients globally on treatment with an argenx medicine, 10 labeled indications across all approved assets, including VYVGART and potentially empasiprubart and ARGX-119 and five new molecules in Phase 3 development.

The Market Access MG Lead will be responsible for the leading strategic access for the therapeutic area of Myasthenia Gravis, with key focus on next indication expansion global launches, development of next generation FcRn products and overall life-cycle management in a situation of rising competitors' pressure.

This job is eligible to participate in our short‑term and long‑term incentives program. The hiring range displayed above is the range of possible base pay compensation that argenx believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting. The hiring range is based on the job grade for this position.

Individual compensation paid within this range depends on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, prior education and experience, job‑related knowledge and demonstrated skills. argenx may pay more or less than the posted range and this range may be modified in the future.
