ppOur client is an innovative international pharmaceutical company seeking an experienced bAssociate Director – Market Access Public Affairs /b to support the development and execution of market access strategies across the Germany and DACH region. /p pThis strategic role combines market access, pricing and reimbursement, public affairs, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional leadership to ensure successful product access throughout the product lifecycle.

This a permanent role based in Basel area, Switzerland. /p pbAssociate Director Market Access and Public Affairs Germany DACH - 7018 /b /p h3Main Responsibilities: /h3 ul liLead the coordination and execution of regional market access strategies for designated therapeutic areas, ensuring effective implementation, project management, timeline oversight, and risk management. /li liSupport the development of compelling product value propositions, including clinical and health economic evidence, to optimize pricing and reimbursement outcomes across German and DACH markets. /li liBuild and maintain productive relationships with external stakeholders, including health authorities, payer organizations, industry associations, and patient advocacy groups. /li liContribute to the development and implementation of regional market access and public affairs strategies in close collaboration with cross-functional teams. /li liPartner with regional and global colleagues to align strategic priorities and ensure successful execution of market access initiatives. /li liMonitor healthcare policy developments, reimbursement landscapes, and market trends across the DACH region, assessing their potential impact on the business. /li liFoster strong internal collaboration across medical, commercial, regulatory, government affairs, and market access functions. /li liEnsure all activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, industry regulations, compliance requirements, and internal company policies. /li /ul h3Qualifications and Experience: /h3 ul libRelevant Swiss working/residency permit and/or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required; /b /li liUniversity degree in Health Economics, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related discipline. /li liApproximately 10 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry /li liAt least 5-7 years in Market Access roles across Germany and DACH region. /li liProven experience with the bGerman healthcare system and the AMNOG process /b; knowledge of the Swiss reimbursement environment is considered an advantage /li liStrong expertise in pricing, reimbursement, and market access strategy, particularly within innovative or specialty pharmaceutical environments. /li liDemonstrated experience supporting products from pre-launch through commercialization. /li liSound knowledge of health economics, payer evidence generation, and healthcare policy. /li liProven ability to lead complex cross-functional projects and manage multiple stakeholders. /li liStrong project management, vendor management, and strategic planning capabilities. /li liExcellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills. /li liAbility to thrive in a dynamic, international environment and work effectively across functions and cultures. /li liFluent German and English, both written and spoken. /li /ul h3What You'll Bring /h3 pYou are a strategic and collaborative market access professional who enjoys working at the intersection of healthcare policy, commercial strategy, and patient access.
