We're looking for an experienced Director of KOL Management to lead the development of an international Key Opinion Leader (KOL) network across the ophthalmology sector. Working closely with the CEO and cross‑functional teams, you'll strengthen relationships with leading ophthalmic specialists while helping shape the company's global KOL strategy.
What You'll Do Develop and grow an international network of Key Opinion Leaders and reference centres Build and maintain strong relationships with leading ophthalmologists Identify and develop physicians as speakers for international events and congresses Plan and coordinate KOL visits to the company's headquarters, training centre and production site Partner with Marketing, Sales and Medical Affairs to support commercial initiatives Manage KOL contracts, CRM activity and reporting Drive the development of the global KOL strategy Represent the business at international conferences across Europe and Asia What You Need Proven KOL Management experience within ophthalmology (essential) Background in ophthalmology, optometry or ophthalmic medical devices Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills Experience working across Marketing, Medical Affairs and Sales Fluent German and English Willingness to travel internationally (30-40%) Ideal for a Director of KOL Management, KOL Manager, Medical Affairs Manager or Medical Education professional with proven ophthalmology and KOL management experience looking to make a strategic impact within a global medical technology organisation.
