Account Executive (First Commercial Hire) We’re NetFabric, a rapidly growing technology startup (an ETH Zurich spin-off) specializing in agentic network operations.

Networks are getting too complex for humans to run alone, so we’re building the AI that helps run them instead: agents that investigate, coordinate, and act across complex infrastructure. Now we’re ready to build the commercial engine, and we’re hiring our first commercial hire to help us do it.

We believe networking is about to experience the kind of moment Claude Code brought to software engineering, and we’re well positioned to be at the forefront of it. We’re working on something exciting, and we’d love for you to be part of it. The Opportunity This is our first dedicated commercial hire.

We’re looking for an operator-turned-seller to help take founder-led selling and evolve it into a repeatable commercial motion. This is a foundational, full-cycle role: you own your pipeline from initial outreach, through signing a pilot, all the way to a long‑term contract.

You’ll run the first qualifying calls independently, with the founders supporting on deeper technical conversations at later, qualified stages. Because we’re pre‑seed and lean, the right person is a builder, comfortable owning revenue without an established playbook or enablement function behind them.

A core reason for this hire is to take significant load off the founders, so you’ll need to be highly independent and able to run with things on your own.

You’ll partner closely with the founders on strategy, but you should need little hand‑holding, be energized by being the first dedicated commercial hire in a deeply technical company, and want to shape the function as it grows.

What You’ll Own Full-cycle deals: from first outbound touch through PoC to signed contract, including defining what “PoC to paid” actually looks like here. The technical conversation: run demos and discovery independently, speaking the language of network leadership. Bring in founders when it’s time to go deep.

Commercial foundations: pricing, packaging, PoC agreements, order forms, and terms, which you’ll help refine, along with our sales material and collateral as you learn what lands with customers. The ICP: sharpen who we chase and, just as importantly, who we walk away from. Pipeline generation: you’ll own building and driving outbound from day one.

Commercial infrastructure: help build and scale the systems, process, and stack behind the sales motion as we grow. The feedback loop: win/loss insight goes straight back into product and positioning. What You Bring Real, hands‑on experience as a network engineer, operator, or architect.

You’ve run, designed, or troubleshot production networks yourself, not managed people who did. You’re currently in a sales, pre‑sales, or sales‑engineering role, with a track record of closing deals with network or infrastructure buyers.

You’ve been exposed to building something in an early, messy state before, whether pipeline, process, or a market, in a low‑structure, early‑stage environment. You operate independently. You don’t need a playbook or a manager checking in daily. Fluent English; other languages are a bonus. Comfortable traveling and being customer‑facing.

Eligible to work in Switzerland or elsewhere in Europe; Switzerland‑based is preferred, otherwise within a few hours of Central European Time. We’re also looking for: A genuine builder: someone who wants to create the motion, not inherit one.

Someone who can hold their own in a conversation with a Head of Network Ops and be taken seriously in the first five minutes. Someone energized by long, technical, proof‑driven sales cycles, not put off by them. A real interest in AI and the confidence to speak credibly about agentic network operations. An existing network in the space is a plus.
