ATN is partnered with a global leading Tier 1 automotive supplier in its search for a Sales Director, Volkswagen Group, to lead and grow its strategic business across the entire VW Group portfolio.

Salary: 135-150k + bonus + company car + benefits.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow the commercial relationship with the Volkswagen Group across all brands, including VW, Audi, Porsche, Škoda, SEAT/CUPRA and Bentley.
• Team leadership and disciplinary management.
• Define and execute the account strategy to drive revenue growth, new programme wins and long-term market share.
• Build and maintain senior relationships across purchasing, engineering, R&D and leadership functions throughout the Group.
• Lead the full sales cycle, from early-stage technical engagement and RFQs through to contract negotiation and programme award.
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to align technical solutions with customer requirements and platform roadmaps.
• Drive pricing strategy, commercial negotiations and contract terms to ensure profitable growth.
• Identify new business opportunities across upcoming vehicle platforms, electrification and software-defined vehicle programmes.
• Act as the key voice of the customer to senior leadership on account strategy, risks and opportunities.

Requirements

• Established, active network across the Volkswagen Group, spanning multiple brands and functions.
• Proven track record in sales, key account management or business development at a Tier 1 automotive supplier.
• Background in design or engineering, ideally having moved into a commercial role.
• Strong understanding of VW Group purchasing processes, sourcing decisions and platform development cycles.
• Experience leading complex negotiations and winning large, multi-year programmes.
• Ability to translate technical solutions into commercial value for OEM stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills at senior level.
• Fluent German and English speaker.
