VP of Software EngineeringAbout the Company We are a German deep-tech company developing scalable quantum computers based on trapped-ion technology. Our systems integrate advanced optics, precision laser control, microwave‑driven ion traps, and high‑performance hardware to enable industrial‑grade quantum computing.

We operate where academic research meets real‑world engineering and commercialisation. About the Role We are seeking a VP of Software Engineering to define and execute the software strategy behind our quantum computing platform.

You will build and scale a high‑performing engineering organisation responsible for the full software stack – from embedded control systems to cloud services and developer tools. This role sits at the intersection of physics, hardware engineering, and advanced software systems, requiring both strategic leadership and deep technical expertise.
