You will shape the system architecture vision, oversee multidisciplinary teams, and ensure the integrity and excellence of our products across hardware, software, applications, automation, and regulated workflows.

From concept to market launch and lifecycle management, you will be the senior leader ensuring our solutions are safe, effective, and ready for the world. /p pbResponsibilities /b /p liProvide strategic leadership for the System Solutions RD function, setting vision and direction for systems engineering, architecture, integration, and application science. /li liOwn and maintain the system architecture, strategy, and technology roadmap across the product portfolio. /li liSet standards for requirements engineering, interface management, and system integration across multidisciplinary teams. /li liPartner with PMO, Product Management, Marketing, and Business Leaders to shape portfolio strategy and define product roadmaps. /li liLead early-stage technical due diligence, feasibility assessments, and risk evaluations for investment decisions. /li liChampion best practices in design controls, risk management, verification, and validation. /li liProvide executive technical oversight for integration, system verification, and release readiness decisions. /li liBuild and grow technical leadership within the function, including hiring, performance management, and talent development. /li liFoster strong partnerships across functions and represent System Solutions in executive reviews and governance forums. /li liPromote a culture of continuous improvement, technical excellence, and innovation. /li pbYour background /b /p pWe’re not just looking for hard skills: We’re looking for people who bring their passion and talent to work. /p liDegree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; Master’s degree preferred. /li liAdvanced business education or a business degree is a nice to have. /li li15+ years of progressive experience in systems engineering, product development, and innovation within life sciences, diagnostics, medical devices, or other highly regulated industries. /li liProven success leading system architecture and cross-functional technical execution for complex multidisciplinary products. /li liStrong track record of building and leading high-performing teams in global, matrixed organizations. /li liDemonstrated senior leadership experience in building and developing multidisciplinary RD organizations. /li liSkilled at coaching, mentoring, and developing technical leaders within the organization. /li liComfortable leading across geographies and cultures, promoting diversity and inclusion. /li liExcellent communication and influencing skills in English; additional languages are an advantage. /li liExperience with digital/data-driven products or AI-assisted workflows is a plus. /li liWillingness to travel internationally (30%) /li pbW /bbhat makes working at Tecan unique /b /p pThe chance to make it count and to have an impact on the world of tomorrow /p liWorking in an international and diverse environment /li liThe chance to grow your career within the company /li liFeel empowered by our strong and unique company culture /li liComprehensive compensation and benefits package /li pbJoin Tecan, a great place to work! /b Read about our recent certification from . /p pWe’re looking forward to receiving your application online.
