Key Responsibilities Drive the investment process from sourcing over underwriting, to monitoring investments Contribute to the development of the portfolio's investment strategy, staying abreast of market developments, and identifying compelling investment themes and opportunities Actively participate in investment decisions as a member of the investment committee Effectively communicate with external partners, clients, and the advisory board to convey investment strategies and performance updates for your investments Collaborate with other senior team members and provide mentorship to junior colleagues Cultivate and expand a professional network, both virtually and through travel, to support global investment efforts and stay connected with industry experts 5-10 years of work experience in investment management Deep understanding of the entire lifecycle of an investment; fund investment experience is appreciated Excellent analytical skills and a structured working style with attention to detail Fluency in English is required, other languages are a plus.

Established by SAP co-founder Hasso Plattner, the Foundation has grown into one of Europe's most ambitious philanthropic institutions building and running initiatives in digital innovation, art, and conservation.

In the Investment Office, our mandate is to compound capital over decades to fund the Foundation's own philanthropic initiatives – Hasso Plattner Institute, Museum Barberini, Sabine Plattner African Charities, and more – into perpetuity.

We allocate to funds and make select direct (co-)investments across public equities, leveraged buyouts, venture and growth capital, hedge funds, and real assets. This role is based in Potsdam, Germany. We are predominantly in-office by design. It's how we work: fast, direct, and collaborative.

The Position As a Senior Investment Manager / Director, you will play a pivotal role in managing a diverse global portfolio. Your responsibilities encompass the entire investment process, shaping investment strategies, participating in key decisions, and maintaining vital stakeholder relationships.
