It requires close interaction with local (country) medical directors with respect to allocated disease area(s) (Hematological malignancies) to assure strategic dialogue considering local specifics and input as well as regional guidance. /p pThe Medical Director Hematology has accountability for the regional input into the product and indication strategies and works closely with local country medical directors to assure alignment across global, regional and local strategies, messaging as well as tactical implementation. /p pReports To: Executive Medical Director, Regional Medical Lead Hemato-Oncology, Medical Affairs, Europe /p h3The Role Includes, But Is Not Limited To /h3 ul liMatrix leadership in the disease area /li liProactive contribution to regional and global brand and disease area strategies /li liIncluding gap analyses /li liIdentification of areas of interest with respect to ISR /li liPublication planning /li liRegional data-dissemination (e.g. company sponsored symposia, congress submissions, medical education activities) /li liRegional HCP interactions / outreach (e.g. investigator meetings, advisory boards) /li liClose collaboration with regional commercial teams regarding pre-launch, launch and commercialization support, assuring timely medical input and accuracy of medical / scientific content /li /ul pAs a subject matter expert for the assigned disease area, the incumbent will be accountable to develop regional strategies to support enduring and compliant relationships with Opinion Leaders, Research Collaborators, and Key Organizations in support of BeOne’s pipeline development across the allocated disease area. /p pThe incumbent will play a key role in the establishment of BeOne as a valued collaborator and best-in-class biopharmaceutical company. /p h3Essential Functions Of The Job /h3 ul liEstablish and maintain scientifically credible peer-to-peer scientific relationships with key national regional opinion leaders in addition to other healthcare providers /li liViewed as a Scientific Partner by KOLs /li liFacilitate monitor strategic partnerships with scientific/clinical experts and serve as a regional-level point of contact with organizations including but not limited to - /li liGuideline development /li liCooperative groups /li liOther (Regional / National Cancer institutions) /li liFacilitate monitor strategic partnerships with other functional areas within BeOne /li liLeadership in the development and execution of clinically relevant regional medical meetings (e.g., advisory boards, consultant, and investigator meetings), as requested /li liDevelop, track, execute and report on goals and objectives. /li liSupport disease area Medical Affairs budget planning and management. /li liBe accountable for compliant business practices. /li /ul h3Experience /h3 ul liMD, with relevant clinical / scientific experience in the indication field /li liMinimum 10 years of experience and success within other biotech/pharmaceutical companies. /li liTrack record of experience (clinical and industry) in the field of Hemato-Oncology /li liHigh level of communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, organizational, and cross functional collaboration skills. /li liFlexibility to work with colleagues in a global setting. /li liAble to engage in work-related travel approximately 50%. /li /ul h3Capabilities And Competencies /h3 ul liImpactful verbal and written communication skills. /li liAbility to effectively collaborate in a dynamic environment. /li liStrong comprehension of disease states, and knowledge of differential algorithms for treatment decisions and experience in disease states of interest to BeOne. /li liAn expert understanding of the health care delivery system, including the managed care arena and its impact on patient care, regional medical care and the pharmaceutical industry.

This includes all areas of medical affairs activities such as support of safe and appropriate product use, data-generation, data-dissemination and HCP interactions.

Subject matter expertise is essential. /p pThe role is part of a matrix organization, reporting to the Executive Director Medical Affairs Europe, but with collaboration with the European Medical Affairs group, other Regional/Country Medical Directors and regional medical affairs functions as well as Global Medical Affairs and Global Clinical Development Functions.
