Qualifications • Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations, supply chain, business or related discipline. • 10+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing or operations with responsibility for business performance through others. • Proven track record of building high‑performing teams and leading change in a complex environment. • Excellent English and German speaking skills. • Preferred Qualifications: • Advanced degree. • Experience in a medical device or similarly regulated manufacturing environment. • Deep knowledge of Lean manufacturing systems and continuous improvement at site level. • Global perspective to align operations, talent, and investment decisions with long‑term strategy. • Experience leading cross‑functional teams and influencing within matrixed organizations. • Strong strategic capability, business acumen, and ability to balance short‑term execution with long‑term site capability building. • Strong communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills.

Lead Stryker’s Freiburg and Stetten campuses, overseeing more than 1,400 employees across multiple manufacturing divisions. Manage high‑precision manufacturing of bone osteosynthesis implants, surgical instruments, patient‑specific cranio‑maxillofacial and neuro implants, and bioelectronic devices.

Provide General Manager (legal director) functions for both sites.

Responsibilities • Develop and execute a campus strategy aligned with divisional and Global Quality & Operations priorities. • Lead manufacturing operations to achieve world‑class performance in Quality, Service, Cost, Delivery, and Safety. • Drive manufacturing excellence through continuous improvement, automation, innovation, and strategic capital investments. • Oversee successful new product introductions in partnership with R&D, Advanced Operations, and divisional leadership. • Provide financial leadership, including budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and execution of financial commitments. • Foster a high‑performance culture rooted in trust, accountability, engagement, inclusion, and collaboration. • Build organizational capability through talent management, succession planning, leadership development, and retention initiatives. • Ensure manufacturing capacity and supply continuity to support business growth and demand variability. • Partner across the campus and global organization to maximize shared infrastructure, resources, and capabilities.

Travel 30% travel. Work Flexibility Role allows participation in on‑site or remote work arrangements as defined by Stryker’s Work Flexibility policy. Travel expectations are included.
