In partnership with the local Value, Market Access and Pricing team, pursues corporate Public Affairs activities, including engagement with government and stakeholder institutions in Midsized Markets on broader company issues.
Capability Building (Tech and AI) and Regional Alignment Builds team fluency in AI-enabled tools for audience insight, message drafting, and real-time measurement and sets clear standards for responsible, compliant use.
Revolution Medicines is a late-stage clinical oncology company developing novel targeted therapies for patients with RAS-addicted cancers.
The company’s R elironrasib (RMC-6291), a RAS(ON) G12C-selective inhibitor; zoldonrasib (RMC-9805), a RAS(ON) G12D-selective inhibitor; and RMC-5127, a RAS(ON) G12V-selective inhibitor, are currently in clinical development.
The Opportunity: The Senior Director, Corporate Affairs will lead the development and execution of oncology-focused Corporate Affairs strategies in the Midsized Markets that support the company’s mission of revolutionizing treatment for patients with RAS-addicted cancers.
These Corporate Affairs strategies bring together media relations, corporate public affairs, product communications, corporate reputation management and internal communications. We are realistic that priorities will need to be set and will evolve over time.
We are seeking a versatile leader who approaches this breadth as an opportunity and who understands that the scope of the role reflects the scale of our ambition as a growing business.
Reporting to the VP, Corporate Affairs, Europe with a strong dotted line to the General Manager, Midsized Markets, this role ensures that the Corporate Affairs strategy is primarily supporting local priorities and market requirements. The strategy should also be aligned with regional and global Corporate Affairs strategies.
Key Responsibilities: Media Relations Acts as Midsized Markets spokesperson, directing enquiries to internal experts as needed. Drives proactive media content and strategy around trial results, regulatory milestones, and major oncology congresses (ASCO, ESMO).
Builds and maintains trusted relationships with top-tier Midsized Marketsand trade media, ensuring accurate representation of company positions and achievements. Monitors media coverage and sentiment, flagging emerging narratives before they require a crisis response.
Ensures consistent messaging across earned, owned, and shared channels, and aligns spokesperson strategy and media plans with global priorities. Corporate Reputation Management and Corporate Public Affairs Owns the country-level corporate reputation strategy for [COUNTRY], ensuring consistency with the global corporate narrative and brand.
Monitors reputation indicators and stakeholder sentiment, giving leadership early warning of emerging risks and opportunities. Leads local crisis and issues management, protecting and enhancing the company's reputation during sensitive events.
Builds executive visibility and thought leadership within the local business, healthcare, and policy community, positioning leaders as trusted voices on oncology innovation.
Maps and monitors the evolving policy environment in Midsized Markets including government, institutions, and regulatory bodies, flagging risks and opportunities to the business. Internal Communication Partners with GMs, HR, and corporate functions to build a culture of transparency and pride in the company's oncology impact.
Designs engagement strategies that build genuine commitment and translate strategy into clear priorities employees can act on. Aligns internal messaging with external priorities, cascading Midsized Markets policy and access milestones through engaging channels.
Product and Disease Area Communications Leads oncology communications strategy in Midsized Markets across disease awareness, launch, and lifecycle, including congress activity (ASCO, ESMO) that translates clinical data for HCP and media audiences, where and how permitted under local regulatory requirements.
Creates disease-awareness content for patients and caregivers, and partners with Medical Affairs to translate clinical data into HCP-facing communications. Ensures communications comply with European promotional codes (EFPIA) and local regulations, maintaining clear promotional/non-promotional distinction and ethical standards.
Develops best-practice toolkits, guidance, and training that build local advocacy and policy capacity, including AI and digital literacy. Treats digital and AI-enabled engagement as core, not optional, to contemporary corporate affairs
