Senior Associate/Legal Director – Private Client

TSR Legal are currently partnering with boutique private client firm based in Bristol, with a reputation for providing thoughtful, high-quality legal advice to individuals, families and business owners across the United Kingdom

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, taking ownership of their matters and delivering a genuinely personal service. You will have the opportunity to work on high-quality private client matters within a specialist firm where relationships, technical excellence and attention to detail really matter.

You will advise a varied private client base across a broad range of matters, including:

• Wills and estate planning
• Trusts and lifetime planning
• Probate and estate administration
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Inheritance Tax and succession planning
• Estate planning for business owners and high-net-worth families
• More complex and bespoke private client matters

You will manage your own caseload and client relationships, while working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to the continued development of the firm’s private client offering. There is also scope for the successful candidate to play an important role in the continued growth and development of the practice.

We are looking for a solicitor who combines strong technical ability with excellent client skills.

You will ideally have:

• 5+ years’ PQE in private client work
• Strong experience across wills, trusts, probate and estate planning
• Excellent technical and drafting skills
• The confidence to manage matters independently
• Experience advising high-net-worth individuals, families and/or business owners
• A commercially aware and pragmatic approach
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A genuine interest in developing long-term client relationships

You may already be operating at senior associate, senior solicitor or equivalent level. We are also open to speaking with ambitious private client solicitors who are ready to take the next step in their career.
