Working in close collaboration with the Managing Director and the Leadership Team, you will contribute to the definition and execution of the Business Unit's three-year strategic roadmap.
You will ensure that fragrance products are conceived, developed, manufactured, packaged and delivered according to the highest standards of quality, safety, compliance, operational excellence and environmental responsibility, while supporting business growth and international expansion.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure worldwide compliance of products and operational processes with applicable regulatory requirements, enabling successful commercialization across international markets.
Leadership & Transformation Leadership: Lead, coach and develop multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
You bring significant experience in senior operations management roles within the fragrance, cosmetics, beauty or FMCG industries, with a proven track record of leading complex international operations, driving strategic transformation and supporting business growth through operational excellence.

Within our Perfume Business Unit, based in Neuchâtel, we are looking for a: Perfume Operations Director Reporting to the Perfume Business Unit Managing Director, you will define and lead the end-to-end operational strategy of our fragrance business, ensuring excellence across product development, sourcing, production, quality, regulatory compliance and supply chain operations.
Job responsibilities Operations Excellence Operational Strategy: Define and execute the operational strategy of the Business Unit, translating business objectives into scalable, efficient and sustainable operational plans.
Operational Performance: Drive operational excellence across the entire value chain, continuously improving efficiency, service levels, quality and cost performance.
Supply Chain, Production & Packaging End-to-End Supply Chain: Lead and continuously optimize the entire supply chain, including procurement, compounding, filling, packaging and product distribution.
Production Planning: Oversee production planning and purchasing activities, ensuring optimal resource allocation and alignment between manufacturing capacity and business priorities.
Packaging Development: Lead the Packaging Development function to ensure innovative, compliant and operationally feasible product solutions while supporting new product development and industrialization.
Inventory Management: Ensure optimal inventory levels, monitor stock quality and ageing, and guarantee material availability to support uninterrupted production and customer service.
Quality, Regulatory & Sustainability Quality Governance: Define, govern and ensure the consistent application of quality standards across all manufacturing activities while promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement.
Responsible Person (RQS): Act as the Responsible Person for Quality and Safety under the Chinese Cosmetics Supervision and Administration Regulation (CSAR). Product Safety & Environment: Oversee product safety assessments and drive the environmental strategy of the Business Unit, ensuring compliance with corporate sustainability objectives.
Non-Conformity Management: Lead the end-to-end management of non-conformities, ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions across all operational activities. Organizational Excellence: Build organizational capabilities, governance and operational processes that enable sustainable growth and high performance.
Operational Excellence Roadmap: Define and drive the Operational Excellence roadmap by identifying strategic improvement opportunities and optimizing end-to-end business processes.
Change Management: Lead transformation initiatives and ensure the successful implementation, adoption and long-term sustainability of organizational and operational changes.
Profile You hold a Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, complemented by solid knowledge of chemistry and Quality, Safety, Regulatory and Packaging (QSRP) principles.
You possess strong expertise across supply chain and production, combining strategic vision with a solid business and financial mindset to drive informed decision-making in fast-paced environments.
Recognized for your leadership, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, you communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and are able to translate complex technical topics into clear business recommendations. You are fluent in both French and English; proficiency in Italian would be considered an asset.
