The Opportunity The firm is seeking an experienced Principal to join its London‑based investment team.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior partners, management teams and entrepreneurs while helping shape the firm's investment activity across Europe.

Key Responsibilities Lead the assessment and execution of private equity investments in B2B software businesses Source proprietary investment opportunities and develop relationships with founders, executives and advisers across Europe Conduct commercial analysis, financial modelling, valuation and due diligence Prepare investment committee materials and present investment recommendations Lead transaction execution and coordinate external advisers throughout the investment process Partner with portfolio company leadership teams to drive strategic initiatives, operational improvements and growth Support portfolio companies with acquisitions, international expansion and strategic initiatives Monitor portfolio performance and contribute to exit planning Mentor junior investment professionals and support the continued development of the investment team Candidate Profile The successful candidate is likely to possess: 8–12 years of experience in private equity, growth equity or venture capital Strong transaction execution experience across buyouts, growth investments or strategic acquisitions Excellent financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities Strong commercial judgement and a genuine interest in enterprise software and technology businesses Proven ability to build trusted relationships with founders, CEOs and senior executives Outstanding communication and presentation skills Entrepreneurial, collaborative and hands‑on approach Bachelor's or Master's degree from a leading university Fluency in English; additional European languages would be advantageous Principal – Private Equity (Tech and Software) Relocation to London, United Kingdom An opportunity to join a leading Northern European private equity firm specialising in Tech and B2B software investments.
