This strategic leadership role offers the chance to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, manage key client relationships and oversee the successful delivery of complex high-voltage infrastructure projects for hyperscale data centres and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

You will provide technical leadership, manage multidisciplinary engineering teams, develop strategic client relationships and play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the business.

Key responsibilities may include: • Leading and developing multidisciplinary engineering teams across multiple high-value energy infrastructure projects. • Acting as the primary engineering interface for major clients, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders. • Providing technical leadership on complex HV and EHV electrical infrastructure projects. • Overseeing the engineering delivery of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), hyperscale data centre power infrastructure and grid connection projects. • Driving engineering quality, innovation and continuous improvement across the business. • Managing engineering resources, project priorities and team utilisation to ensure successful project delivery. • Supporting business development activities, client presentations and technical proposals. • Developing long-term client relationships and identifying opportunities for repeat business and strategic growth. • Taking ownership of engineering budgets, project profitability and commercial performance alongside project and commercial teams. • Providing leadership during project reviews, technical risk assessments and value engineering exercises. • Ensuring all engineering activities comply with German regulations, industry standards and company quality procedures. • Mentoring and developing senior engineers and future engineering leaders within the business. • Working collaboratively with project management, commercial, procurement and construction teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience required: • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or a related engineering discipline. • Extensive experience delivering high-voltage and extra-high-voltage electrical infrastructure projects. • Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams. • Strong background in energy infrastructure, power transmission, substations, grid connections or related sectors. • Experience delivering projects for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), hyperscale data centres or other critical infrastructure would be highly advantageous. • Demonstrable experience managing key client relationships at executive level. • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets, contracts and financial performance. • Experience leading engineering strategy across multiple concurrent projects. • Excellent understanding of German and European engineering standards and regulations. • Outstanding stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills. • Experience developing engineering teams and driving technical excellence. • Fluent German and English are essential.

Location: Frankfurt We are seeking an accomplished Engineering Director to lead the engineering function across a portfolio of high-profile energy infrastructure projects throughout Germany.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded engineering leader with extensive experience delivering high-voltage electrical infrastructure projects.

Projects include Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), hyperscale data centre infrastructure, high-voltage substations, grid connections and transmission networks, supporting some of Europe's largest energy and digital infrastructure developments.
