Director Accountancy

Are you an experienced accountancy professional ready to take on a leadership role with real influence over clients, people and business strategy?

I'm working with a leading Belgian advisory firm looking for a Director Accountancy to help lead and develop its team in Westerlo.

This is an opportunity to move beyond day-to-day file management and take on a more strategic position, combining client advisory, team leadership and business development within an established, growing organisation.

What will you be doing?

• Overseeing a diverse portfolio of SME clients across accountancy, taxation and company law.
• Acting as a trusted adviser, building long-term client relationships and providing pragmatic solutions.
• Coaching and developing qualified accountants while fostering a collaborative team culture.
• Working closely with partners to translate business strategy into operational objectives.
• Contributing to the continued growth and development of the accountancy division.

What are we looking for?

• At least 8 years' experience with experience in an accountancy firm, this sector experience is essential.
• A recognised professional accountant title.
• A background in Accountancy and Taxation, supplemented by further study in accountancy.
• Proven client advisory skills and the ability to manage and develop a team.
• A proactive, commercially minded approach with a passion for developing people and client relationships.
