Accountabilities Analyse lending applications, financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents to assess the borrower's creditworthiness and repayment capacity. Evaluate the risk profile of each application considering factors such as industry trends, borrower financials, collateral, and market conditions.
Provide independent credit decisions on lending applications, adhering to established credit policies, risk parameters, and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement appropriate courses of action for troubled lending, including workout plans, restructuring, or collections.

Advise key stakeholders, manage and mitigate risks, strengthen controls, collaborate across functions, create solutions through analytical thought, and build trusting relationships to achieve outcomes.

Monitor the performance of the Swiss credit portfolio, identifying potential risks and early warning signs of credit default.
Evaluate the risk profile of each application considering factors such as industry trends, borrower financials, collateral, and market conditions. Provide independent credit decisions on lending applications, adhering to established credit policies, risk parameters, and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement appropriate courses of action for troubled lending, including workout plans, restructuring, or collections. Collaborate with key stakeholders within the business, including Credit Structuring, Front Office, Legal, and Operations.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and change programmes within the Credit Risk function. Qualifications Experience with credit risk management and sanctioning, with a proven track record of applying sound risk judgment in a private banking environment.
Strong understanding of banking products, client behaviours, and market dynamics within the Swiss Private Banking environment. Stakeholder management and leadership, with the ability to influence senior partners, build trusted relationships, and drive effective outcomes.
Preferred Skills Knowledge and experience within the mortgage lending business in Switzerland, the UK, and France (including Monaco). Proficiency in English and French; any other language is a plus.
Assessment of key critical skills such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology. Job‑specific technical skills.
