We are searching for a Cluster Director of IT to join Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern and Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich.

The hotel comprises 136 rooms and suites, four restaurants, one bar together with a variety of meeting facilities, a Spa and a fitness room. Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich is located in the heart of the Old Town, in the main business center, close to the city’s leisure attractions and just a short walk from the shores of Lake Zurich.

The Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich has 80 guest rooms and suites and three dining venues, including an all‑day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant and a lobby lounge.

About the job: Based at the Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern and working for both hotels: Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern and Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich the Cluster Director of IT is responsible for the strategic and operational management of all IT systems and infrastructure across both properties.

This role ensures seamless technology performance to support exceptional guest experiences and efficient hotel operations. As Cluster Director of IT you will be responsible for the following duties: Oversee and manage all IT operations across both properties, ensuring system stability, security, and performance.

Leverage use of technology to enhance guest experience and business process. Ensure the smooth operation of all hotel systems, including Property Management Systems, POS, networks, and telecommunications. Lead IT projects, system upgrades, and new technology implementations.

Maintain cybersecurity standards and ensure compliance with data protection regulations. Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and service contracts. Provide technical support and training to colleagues across departments. Act as the main point of contact for all IT‑related matters within both hotels.

As Cluster Director of IT, we expect from you: A minimum of two years of relevant experience as a Director of IT within a luxury hotel environment. Self‑motivated and proactive, with the ability to identify and implement technology solutions that enhance guest experience, operational efficiency, and profitability.

Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work varied schedules to meet operational demands. A mature and strategic thinker with strong reasoning and problem‑solving abilities. Passionate about technology and innovation. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is highly preferred.
