ppEdenthorpe Search is representing an established international digital-assets and payments group seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead its regulated European operation. /ppPlease note: This role is based in Vaduz, however, the client will consider a Swiss based candidate who can commute for a minimum of 3 days to Vaduz. /ppThe CEO will assume responsibility for the company’s strategic direction, regulatory standing and commercial development across Europe.
This individual will work closely with the Board and international leadership while ensuring that the European business maintains appropriate independence, governance and local substance. /ppKey responsibilities: /pulliLead the European business and execute its growth strategy /liliMaintain a constructive relationship with regulators and external stakeholders /liliEnsure strong governance, financial discipline and regulatory compliance /liliDevelop the organisation’s products, partnerships and market presence /liliBuild and lead a high-performing local management team /liliRepresent the business at board, regulatory and industry level /liliOversee operational resilience, risk management and client protection /li /ulpThe successful candidate will bring senior executive experience gained within digital assets, fintech, payments, banking or another regulated financial-services environment.
A strong understanding of European financial regulation, governance and crypto-asset markets is essential. /ppCandidates should demonstrate credible regulatory standing, commercial judgement and the ability to operate effectively within an international group.
Previous board or regulated-entity leadership experience is strongly preferred. /ppGerman-language capability and experience within Liechtenstein, Switzerland or the wider DACH region would be advantageous. /p /p
