ph3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop, implement, and manage multi‑year strategies and plans for the cultivation and solicitation of gift prospects, including corporate, foundation, institutional, and individual donors. /li liBuild and maintain long‑term relationships with new and existing donors and prospects. /li liCultivate donors from annual giving to major or planned gifts and make direct asks to global and local priorities to meet funding needs. /li liDiscuss and advise on assets, non‑cash gifts (planned gifts, trade lands), blended gifts, and gifts of assets in proposals. /li liLink donor interests to Conservancy priorities, using a deep understanding of organizational budgets to build proposal budgets. /li liApply knowledge of private foundations, operating foundations, and Donor Advised Funds in fundraising conversations. /li liCollaborate across chapters and programs, manage a referral network, and staff chapter leadership as a moves manager as needed. /li liManage assigned trustee relationships and volunteer engagement. /li liOperate the Conservancy’s donor database and track prospect activity. /li liTravel frequently and on short notice; work long hours and weekends as required. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree and 7 years of related experience. /li liExperience building and maintaining long‑term relationships with major donors and corporations. /li liExperience asking for and closing gifts of $75,000 or more, including planned gifts. /li liExperience managing and tracking multiple prospects and donors. /li liExperience with fundraising principles and practices. /li liExperience, coursework, or training in current trends in charitable giving, particularly capital campaigns, major gifts, and planned giving. /li /ul h3Desired Qualifications /h3 ul liMultilingual skills and cross‑cultural experience. /li liAbility to design and implement fundraising strategies, including cultivation, solicitation, and recognition strategies. /li liAbility to determine an individual’s interests, capacity, and potential for supporting the Conservancy’s goals, and align those interests with the Conservancy’s work. /li liAbility to educate and inform prospective and existing donors about appropriate giving vehicles. /li liAdvanced knowledge of complex charitable gift planning. /li liDemonstrated listening, diplomacy, and tact to build strong relationships and motivate donors and volunteers. /li liProven ability to negotiate complex, high‑profile, or sensitive agreements. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 pTNC offers competitive and comprehensive benefits packages tailored to the individual countries where we work.
