ppbAbout Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd /bbr/Headquartered near Basel, Switzerland – a European biotech hub – Idorsia has a highly experienced team of dedicated professionals, covering all disciplines from bench to bedside; QUVIVIQ™ (daridorexant), a different kind of insomnia treatment with the potential to revolutionize this mounting public health concern; strong partners to maximize the value of our portfolio; a promising in‑house development pipeline; and a specialized drug discovery engine focused on small‑molecule drugs that can change the treatment paradigm for many patients. /p h3VP, Head of Global Marketing /h3 pThe VP, Head of Global Marketing is a senior strategic leadership role responsible for defining and driving the global commercial strategy of pipeline and launch assets from Phase 2 onwards. /p pThe role serves as the global commercial voice across the product lifecycle, ensuring that clinical development, evidence generation, market access, medical strategy, positioning, launch readiness, and lifecycle planning are fully integrated to maximize asset and portfolio value. /p pWorking cross-functionally with Development, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, Finance, Regions, and Commercial teams, the VP, Head of Global Marketing leads New Product Planning, Launch Readiness, and Global Launch Excellence while supporting executive decision-making and long-term value creation. /p ul liLead New Product Planning (NPP) activities across pipeline assets from Phase 2 onward. /li liDefine and execute global commercial strategies for development-stage and launch assets. /li liPartner with Life Cycle Leaders to shape asset strategy, target indications, sequencing, evidence generation plans, and lifecycle opportunities. /li liDevelop asset value propositions, differentiation strategies, target product profiles, and commercial business cases. /li liAssess market opportunities, competitive landscapes, patient needs, treatment pathways, and future standards of care. /li liProvide commercial input into clinical development plans to ensure future market adoption, reimbursement, and differentiation. /li liBuild commercial forecasts, opportunity assessments, valuation scenarios, and portfolio recommendations. /li liEstablish and lead the global Launch Readiness framework, governance, milestones, and decision‑making processes. /li liDrive integrated launch planning across Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, Regions, and Affiliates. /li liIdentify launch‑critical risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans to ensure successful execution. /li liDefine and monitor launch readiness metrics, dashboards, scorecards, and performance indicators. /li liServe as Global Launch Lead for selected strategic assets from late‑stage development through launch and early commercialization. /li liLead global cross‑functional launch teams and coordinate launch execution across all key functions and regions. /li liDevelop global brand strategies, positioning, segmentation, messaging architecture, and stakeholder engagement plans. /li liTranslate clinical differentiation into compelling value propositions for healthcare professionals, patients, payers, and health systems. /li liPartner closely with Medical Affairs and Market Access teams on scientific platforms, evidence strategies, pricing assumptions, and reimbursement plans. /li liCollaborate with regional and affiliate teams to ensure globally aligned but locally adaptable launch and commercialization strategies. /li liSupport portfolio prioritization, launch sequencing, resource allocation, and investment decisions across the organization. /li liDevelop frameworks for portfolio assessment, asset prioritization, and strategic trade‑off analyses. /li liPrepare executive‑level strategic recommendations, governance materials, launch updates, and decision‑support documentation. /li liEstablish governance and operating rhythms for Global Marketing, New Product Planning, and Launch Readiness activities. /li liDrive alignment between Development, Medical, Access, Commercial, and Regional organizations to ensure integrated asset strategies. /li liLead post‑launch reviews, performance tracking, and lifecycle optimization initiatives. /li liBuild a culture of accountability, strategic thinking, execution excellence, and cross‑functional collaboration. /li /ul h3Candidate's Requirements /h3 ul liAdvanced degree in Business, Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, or related field preferred.

MBA, PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent experience considered an advantage. /li liMinimum 15+ years of experience within Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or Healthcare. /li liSignificant experience in Global Marketing, New Product Planning, Commercial Strategy, Launch Excellence, or Lifecycle Management. /li liProven track record of leading global and/or regional product launches. /li liStrong experience supporting assets from Phase 2 clinical development through commercialization. /li liDeep understanding of asset strategy, target product profile development, evidence generation, market access, indication sequencing, and lifecycle planning. /li liExperience in specialty care and innovation‑driven therapeutic areas such as Rare Diseases, Immunology, Oncology, Neuroscience, Cardiovascular, Metabolic Diseases, or related fields. /li liDemonstrated leadership in cross‑functional, matrixed global organizations. /li liStrong strategic thinking and commercial acumen with the ability to translate complex science into commercial opportunities. /li liExperience working closely with Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, and Regional Commercial organizations. /li liStrong executive presence and ability to influence senior leadership and governance bodies. /li liExcellent communication, presentation, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills. /li liProven ability to manage ambiguity, drive strategic decisions, and deliver executional excellence. /li liAbility to influence without direct authority in a highly collaborative global environment. /li /ul pWork Location: Basel Area /p pBusiness Area: Global Commercial Strategy and New Product Introduction /p pJob Type: Permanent /p h3Equal Opportunity Statement /h3 bAt Idorsia, we harness the power of difference, authenticity, and inclusion to achieve business success.br/We encourage all potential candidates with diverse backgrounds of race, color, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, and disability to submit their job applications.
