Technical Director / Product Expert - Broadcast & Media Networks Location: Near Cologne, Germany (Relocation Support Available) We are supporting a leading international manufacturer of broadcast and media technology in the search for a Technical Director / Product Expert to join their growing team in Germany.

Acting as the technical authority for a portfolio of market-leading solutions, you will work closely with customers, partners and internal teams to drive successful deployments across broadcasters, live events and media organisations.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced broadcast technology professional with a passion for IP networking, live production workflows and customer engagement. The Role You will become the technical expert for a range of cutting-edge broadcast networking solutions, providing technical leadership throughout the customer journey.

Responsibilities include: • Acting as the subject matter expert for advanced broadcast and media networking solutions. • Delivering product demonstrations, technical presentations and customer workshops. • Supporting customers, systems integrators and channel partners throughout the pre- and post-sales lifecycle. • Advising on solution architecture and best practice for complex deployments. • Developing technical documentation, training materials and knowledge-sharing content. • Working closely with Product Management, Engineering and Sales to represent customer requirements and market feedback. • Supporting customer installations, acceptance testing and technical troubleshooting where required. • Occasional travel across Germany and Europe.

About You We're looking for someone with a strong technical background within professional broadcast, live production or media infrastructure.

You'll ideally have experience with: • Broadcast IP networking and live production workflows. • SMPTE ST 2110, AES67, NMOS and PTP. • IP networking technologies including multicast, QoS and switching. • Broadcast systems integration, media transport or production infrastructure. • Customer-facing technical support, systems engineering or solution architecture. • Delivering technical presentations and engaging with customers at all levels.

Requirements • Fluent German and English (both essential). • Willingness to be based near Cologne. • Relocation support is available for candidates currently living elsewhere in Germany. • Full driving licence and willingness to travel.
