Our mission is to combine traditional recruitment and coaching methodologies with innovative technology to deliver tailored solutions to both clients and candidates.Position OverviewMorgan Latif is partnering with an established international Industrial Technology business to appoint a Site Director for a strategically important manufacturing operation in the Baden-Württemberg region of Germany.Reporting into senior European Operations leadership, the Site Leader will hold overall responsibility for the management, direction and performance of the manufacturing operation, leading across Production and supporting functions.This is a highly visible leadership position focused on strengthening operational performance, developing the organisation and ensuring the site consistently delivers against Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost objectives.The ChallengeThe successful candidate will lead the continued development and optimisation of the operation, with key priorities including:Leading and developing the site leadership team and wider organisationDriving performance across manufacturing, quality, supply chain and customer serviceDelivering against financial, cost, capacity and inventory objectivesEmbedding a strong Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement cultureStrengthening KPI management, visual performance routines and structured root-cause problem solvingDriving shop-floor discipline through standard work, quality processes and 5SImproving productivity, operational efficiency and equipment reliabilitySupporting new product introductions and initiatives to enable future growthLeading CAPEX and manufacturing improvement initiativesStrengthening preventive maintenance and operational reliabilityDriving safety performance and regulatory complianceBuilding a high-performance culture centred around accountability, teamwork and talent developmentCandidate ProfileWe are interested in speaking with established manufacturing leaders who can demonstrate:10+ years of experience within manufacturing environmentsAt least 7+ years in a significant manufacturing leadership positionExperience within Industrial Technology, engineered products, mechanical manufacturing, plastics or comparable industrial environmentsProven implementation of Lean Manufacturing methodologies, including Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Kanban, Kaizen and 5SA strong track record of operational improvement and change leadershipStrong understanding of manufacturing performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery and CostExperience with CAPEX, manufacturing equipment and operational improvement projectsStrong people leadership, organisational development and team-building capabilityExcellent analytical, problem-solving and fact-based decision-making skillsExperience working successfully within an international, matrixed organisationMechanical or Manufacturing Engineering degree, or equivalentFluent German and English language skillsThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Leader to take ownership of an established manufacturing operation within an international Industrial Technology organisation and make a tangible impact on its operational performance, people and future growth.We look forward to your application!
