In addition, the Senior Director will serve as a strategic bridge between Content, Product/Platform teams, and MH enterprise-wide initiatives, ensuring school content creation needs are translated into scalable, sustainable product solutions and that platform capabilities are effectively integrated into end-to-end content workflow.
What You'll Do Overall Manage the multi-year business plan and roadmap for School Content Transformation, including alignment with MH-wide content modernization initiatives.
Oversee the enablement of cross functional product, content and design teams in adopting new workflows and tools, to serve the scaling need with a focus on change management and post-launch KPI tracking. Align roadmap across product portfolios, platform teams, and content organizations to ensure consistency and scale.
Ensure tools and capabilities developed by Product/Platform teams are effectively adopted and integrated into content workflows. Establish operating models and feedback loops between Content, Product, and Engineering teams. Change Management: Lead adoption of new systems and workflows across distributed content teams.
Enable teams through communication, training, and support to ensure sustained impact. Partner with Data Science, Engineering, Legal, and Data Ethics teams to ensure responsible and scalable AI implementation. Experience modernizing legacy publishing operations and setting new benchmarks/processes.
Experience partnering with Data, AI, and Engineering teams on enterprise transformation initiatives. Background in enterprise SaaS product management and platform modernization efforts.
Exceptional executive presence, with the ability to inspire, align, and mobilize cross-functional teams and stakeholders of all levels, including the MH Executive Leadership team. Proven ability to define and operationalize centralized strategies across distributed teams.

The Senior Director, Product Management - Content Transformation will lead the end-to-end transformation of McGraw Hill (MH) School's authoring and content development processes, technologies and tools, including our approach to enterprise content management.
They will architect the future of how MH creates and delivers products, where all aspects of our ecosystem are evaluated.
The Senior Director will bring together their knowledge of K-12 education and content with business acumen, technical aptitude, and the possibilities of AI to set and deliver a compelling transformation in how we build products at MH.
The objective of this role is to enable the organization to deliver high-quality, effective curriculum more efficiently and at greater scale, enabling faster time-to-market and expanding access to personalized, impactful learning experiences for students and teachers globally.
This role will own and drive a centralized content transformation roadmap, aligning investments in tools, workflows, and AI capabilities across product lines to improve speed, quality, and scalability of content development.
This leader will define and execute a cross-portfolio content acceleration strategy that balances customer impact with business priorities while driving measurable improvements in speed, efficiency, quality, and innovation.
The role will also partner across business units to identify, implement, and optimize enterprise-wide solutions, including content management platforms, workflow tools, and other enabling technologies that support scalable content operations. This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.
Set the overall vision and roadmap for the transformation of MH School's content development ecosystem, including print and digital. Lead build/buy/partner decisions for content authoring, management, and production ecosystems. Develop business cases and partner with leadership on investment decisions.
Establish a clear roadmap that is aligned to product milestones such that savings can be realized alongside implementation of tools. Lead the centralized content acceleration roadmap Define, prioritize, and govern a multi-year roadmap for content management & tooling, workflows, and AI enablement.
Drive prioritization tradeoffs based on business value, ROI, and operational impact. Collaborate with other BU's in standardization & alignment of parts of the ecosystem that can drive value enterprise wide.
Serve as the bridge between Content Ops and Product/Platform Lead cross-functional discovery as needed to identify process inefficiencies and define standardized, scalable workflows. Translate content development needs (capacity, speed, quality) into product and platform requirements.
Drive AI-enabled content transformation Identify, prioritize, and scale AI use cases across content generation, tagging, and workflow automation. Own performance measurement and optimization In partnership with the CPO and CAO, define KPIs for content acceleration and establish measurement frameworks across portfolios.
Monitor performance and continuously improve tools, workflows, and adoption.
Who You Are Bachelor's degree Master's degree preferred 12+ years of progressive experience in Product Management, Digital Transformation, Content Platforms, or related leadership roles. 6+ years of experience leading enterprise-scale product or content transformation initiatives.
A proven track record of leading large-scale publishing or content transformation in complex, global organizations. Deep expertise in content strategy, digital publishing, and AI-driven innovation. Ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution.
Demonstrated ability to influence without authority in a highly matrixed organization. Preferred Experience within education technology, digital publishing, learning platforms, media, or content-driven organizations. Familiarity with AI/ML applications in content operations, personalization, and workflow automation.
Knowledge of accessibility standards, localization workflows, and global content operations. Experience leading large-scale digital transformation or enterprise content migration programs. Experience managing multi-year roadmaps and aligning stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and Operations.
Strong financial and operational acumen, including business case development and ROI analysis. Ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution and delivery excellence. Strong communication and facilitation skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong understanding of content management and scalable capability development. Comfortable challenging the status quo (while knowing what really matters from the past), pioneering new models, and shaping the future of content delivery. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
