While the position is predominantly site-based, there is flexibility for occasional remote working where operational and project requirements permit.What will you doLead and develop multidisciplinary teams across construction, project management, design, project controls, commissioning, and vendor managementProvide strategic leadership for the successful delivery of hyperscale data center campuses and associated infrastructureOversee all construction activities, including civil works, shell and core, MEP systems, fit-out, utilities, and external infrastructurePromote a strong health, safety, and environmental culture, ensuring compliance with company standards and applicable regulationsManage project schedules, budgets, quality performance, risk management, change control, and executive reportingCoordinate general contractors, specialist subcontractors, OFCI suppliers, utility providers, authorities, and key stakeholdersCollaborate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Operations, Commissioning, Commercial, and HSE teams throughout the project lifecycleDrive programme consistency, standardization, and continuous improvement across campus delivery activitiesEnsure contractor performance, workforce planning, productivity, and milestone achievement are effectively managedOversee commissioning, integrated systems testing, and phased handover processes to ensure operational readinessWhat are we looking forBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExtensive experience in construction and project leadership, including at least 10 years within mission-critical, industrial, infrastructure, or data center environmentsProven track record of delivering large-scale campus developments or mission-critical projects, ideally exceeding 100MW of critical capacityStrong knowledge of construction management, project controls, planning, procurement, contract administration, and commissioningExperience delivering projects through Design & Build, EPC, Management Contracting, and/or traditional procurement modelsSound understanding of major contract frameworks, including FIDIC and comparable forms of contractDemonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships within client, contractor, supplier, and authority environmentsStrong leadership, communication, negotiation, organizational, and presentation skillsProficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and project reporting toolsAbility to work effectively in international and multicultural teamsGerman and English language skills are essential for the roleWho we areAs the third largest data center provider, we operate over 150 data centers in more than 20 countries and regions.

As Senior Director Construction (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the successful delivery of hyperscale data center campuses and mission-critical infrastructure projects.

Acting as the senior site leader, you will oversee multiple concurrent projects and construction phases, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, programme delivery, budget management, commissioning, operational readiness, and stakeholder engagement.This role is primarily based at our FRA6 site, with the opportunity to support other locations across Frankfurt as business needs require.
