The role is responsible for Phase 2b/3/3b/4 and post‑marketing clinical trials, as well as cross‑functional lifecycle management activities. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liMatrix leader of the Cross‑functional Compound Development Team (CDT); work with TA leadership to develop compound strategy. /li liDevelop and maintain the program plan and lead decision‑making based on research, analysis, and expertise. /li liNegotiate with functional heads to secure deliverables and manage cross‑functional execution. /li liAlign the CDT across all functions to achieve objectives. /li liIdentify critical risks and assumptions, communicating them transparently to governance committees and senior management. /li liLead risk mitigation and contingency planning. /li liResolve issues at the CDT, TA Pharma governance committees, and senior management levels. /li liProvide decision‑making tools and techniques for problem‑solving. /li liCommunicate strategy and plans to governance committees, development partners, and stakeholders. /li liReview medical publications emerging from the team and its affiliates. /li liAccountable for compound program budget. /li liSelect, mentor, and guide CDT members; set goals and objectives; evaluate performance. /li liExecute program and manage financials. /li liAct as company spokesperson on publication of clinical research findings when required. /li liBuild credible relationships with scientific leaders and regulatory officials. /li /ul h3Education Experience /h3 ul liAdvanced degree (Ph.D., M.D., MBA) highly desirable. /li liMinimum 10 years of pharmaceutical or related experience, including 5‑7 years in drug development. /li liLeadership experience within a multifunctional RD organization. /li liAbility to integrate cross‑functional disciplines into a successful strategy and project plan. /li liUnderstanding of commercialization requirements for a new product. /li liExpert knowledge of the drug development process and competitive environment. /li liStrong problem‑solving and creative solution development. /li liDemonstrated influence, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills without clear reporting authority. /li liExtensive experience in a matrix environment. /li liStrong planning and tracking skills; strategic thinking and contingency planning. /li liFluent in written and spoken English. /li liWorking knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. /li liExperience with Good Clinical Practices and regulatory requirements for clinical trials and regulatory filings. /li /ul h3Required Technical Knowledge Skills /h3 ul liFluent in written and spoken English. /li liProficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). /li liIn-depth knowledge of GCP and regulatory requirements for clinical trials. /li /ul h3Preferred Skills /h3 ul liClinical Evaluations, Clinical Trial Protocols, Consulting, Cross‑Functional Collaboration, Design Mindset, Drug Discovery Development, Entrepreneurship, Lateral Leadership, Medicines Device Development Regulation, Program Management, Regulatory Affairs Management, Relationship Building, Safety‑Oriented, Scientific Research, Strategic Change, Study Management. /li /ul h3EEO Statement /h3 pJohnson Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
