Morgan Latif has been exclusively retained by one of the major FMCG organisations to hire a senior commercial leadership role for a strategically critical market within Europe. The Market Manager is responsible for driving sales performance, strengthening customer relationships, and achieving profitable growth across Germany.

The role requires an experienced, commercially driven leader who can stabilise, energise, and transform the commercial organisation. While initially focused on sales leadership, this position offers a clear progression pathway to broader country-level responsibility.

Lead key customer negotiations and manage relationships with major retail partners. Develop and implement commercial strategies that optimise portfolio, pricing, and gross margin. Coach and elevate talent to build future leadership capability. Rebuild trust and engagement across the organisation, fostering collaboration and accountability.

Lead through influence and collaboration, acting as the visible face of the organisation to customers and stakeholders. Strategic & Operational Execution Identify opportunities for portfolio diversification and new growth platforms. Drive operational excellence, ensuring high standards of execution across all commercial activities.

Participate in regional leadership forums, aligning market priorities with broader organisational strategy. Ideal Candidate Profile Proven experience in FMCG or related commercial environments with customer-facing responsibility. Track record managing complex retail negotiations and major account relationships.

Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution. Entrepreneurial mindset, commercially aggressive, and data-driven. Resilient, high-energy leader with the ability to operate in ambiguity and change. Fluent in English; German proficiency highly desirable.
