Remote Supply Chain Director

About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary and experienced Remote Supply Chain Director to lead their global supply chain strategy and operations from anywhere. This executive-level position requires a strategic leader capable of designing, implementing, and managing end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and demand planning. You will drive innovation, optimize costs, and enhance supply chain resilience to support the company's growth objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive global supply chain strategy aligned with company objectives.
• Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including sourcing, procurement, manufacturing interfaces, logistics, and distribution.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels across the supply chain.
• Build and lead a high-performing, globally distributed supply chain team.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate key contracts to ensure optimal terms and performance.
• Implement advanced supply chain technologies and data analytics to optimize decision-making and forecasting.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or director role.
• Proven track record of success in designing and implementing complex global supply chain strategies.
• Extensive experience with supply chain planning, logistics, procurement, and inventory management.
• Exceptional strategic leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing remote teams and operating effectively in a distributed work environment.
