This includes leading our self‑evaluation processes with schools; reviewing, supporting and advising our schools on how they improve and innovate to respond to their markets; using data to understand school needs and how we support schools to use it effectively to improve student outcomes and experiences; leading the education due diligence of potential acquisitions in the region and the integration of new schools; and, advising other NAE functions and the regional team on the quality of our schools and how we can best support them through Nord Anglia collaborations and events.

You’ll work closely with our school leaders, regional teams and education team members. Key Responsibilities Strategy and planning Develop and drive the regional education strategy in partnership with the Regional Managing Director and regional team.

Advise on the appointment of senior leaders in schools and represent the Education Team on relevant panels. Represent NAE at relevant conferences, events and meetings, raising the organisation's profile as a leader in international education.

Work with the regional Admissions and Marketing teams to ensure the educational offer is well understood and clearly communicated. Experience working in or with international schools, with an understanding of the challenges and opportunities they present.

Preferred Familiarity with the IB, UK national curriculum or comparable international frameworks. The Regional Education Director (NAE) is responsible for leading and managing this work in the region. As an educator you’ll bring your deep knowledge of school improvement, organisational change, and data analysis and delivery to this role.

Your work will dovetail closely with our professional learning strategy, ensuring that it addresses key issues across our schools and builds the capacity of staff in schools to offer world‑leading education.

This role involves substantial school‑based work, both in person and remotely, and requires someone who is equally comfortable in the classroom context, the boardroom, and the due diligence process. Use data to identify trends in educational performance across schools, and establish clear goals and timelines for school improvement.

Support school leaders in strategic planning and rigorous self‑evaluation. School improvement and quality Provide strategic leadership of all school improvement work in the region, including quality assurance processes aligned to the NAE framework.

Ensure full and appropriate delivery of the curricula offered in schools and support strong academic outcomes across all programmes. Monitor and evaluate the impact of school improvement activity, sharing findings and effective practice across the network.

Support schools in building robust systems for collecting, analysing and acting on student performance data. Professional learning and development Support and influence the Professional Learning Strategy so it addresses key issues across the region and builds staff capacity.

Contribute to the development of NAE programmes, regional conferences and leadership development activity. Ensure NAE collaborations are fully implemented in schools and that their impact on student outcomes is regularly evaluated and reported.

Growth and integration Lead the education due diligence process for prospective new schools in the region. Support the integration of new schools into Nord Anglia, including NAE systems, processes and programmes. Relationships and representation Build trusted, productive relationships with principals and school leaders across the region.

What We're Looking For Significant senior leadership experience in education, with a strong track record in school improvement across multiple schools or a network. Deep knowledge of the K-12 range and the ability to engage credibly with school leaders on curriculum, assessment and outcomes.

Skilled use of data and evidence to drive decision‑making and evaluate impact. Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage. Experience leading or contributing to quality assurance processes across a group of schools. Experience of education due diligence or supporting new school integration.

A background in professional learning design or leadership development. Experience working within a large, matrixed organisation. The opportunity to shape educational quality and outcomes across a portfolio of schools in Europe.
