As a key member of our production team, this role will be involved in all aspects of production finance from development through post‑production.

The position will work closely with the Production, Post, Creative, Corporate Finance, Accounting, and Business & Legal Affairs teams to ensure that A24 production finance procedures are adhered to, accountants are onboarded properly onto A24 systems, and both internal and external studio responsibilities are handled with care.

Act as the point person and work closely with internal cross‑functional teams for project‑specific accounting and finance information, maintaining and sharing reports. Liaise with A24 producing partners’ production finance & accounting teams concerning receiving reports, invoicing, cash flow, tax credits, and related matters.

Initial Responsibilities Oversee financial operations, cost reporting, and production accounting workflows for assigned television productions.

Proactively maintain and administer production finance infrastructure and systems in advance of productions, including location‑specific infrastructure requirements, ATL payment schedules, and production cash‑flow exposure. Manage the accounting staffing of assigned projects during development, preparation, production, and post‑production.

Oversee on‑set accounting responsibilities such as accounts payable, payroll, journal entries, etc., for the full lifecycle of projects (early preparation, development, writers’ rooms, post‑production, and delivery).

Provide guidance and oversight to on‑set accountants during production, including onboarding, process introduction, and sharing accounting manuals and templates. Track and process any studio‑based delivery payments and fees to talent and partners. Oversee the accounting wrap and delivery process for production and post‑production.

Manage various audits, including tax credits, insurance claims, union audits, and partner‑specific audits. Serve as lead advisor on budgeting, cost reporting, payroll, accounts payable, cash‑flow forecasting, and tax incentives. Support production audits, incentive reviews, compliance reviews, and reconciliations.

Maintain knowledge of labor agreements, tax incentives, and evolving production finance practices. Manage cash flow and production funding processes. Ideal Candidate 10+ years of experience in TV production finance in‑house at a studio or production company. Experience working with production accounting software and Movie Magic Budgeting.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business with an emphasis in accounting, or a related field preferred. Motivated self‑starter skilled in multitasking, time management, and strong organizational skills. Advanced knowledge of Excel, corporate accounting & ledger systems.
