Leveraging SG’s pricing and trading capacity, the team drives high innovation in the market.
Pension Fund and Insurance Sales Germany & Austria (m/f/d) - (Director) Societe Generale is looking for an experienced Director to lead and grow the cross‑asset solutions business for insurance companies and pension funds in Germany and Austria.
Responsibilities Lead the development of the cross‑asset solution business with the assigned client portfolio of 1st, 2nd and 3rd tier insurance companies and pension funds. Co‑create the right cross‑asset product and advisory offer in coordination with engineering.
Experience / Technical Skills University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent. Minimum 10 years relevant experience in investment banking or the financial services industry. Strong network with insurance companies and pension funds. Deep technical knowledge of cross‑asset structured products.
Good knowledge of the structured product universe and, ideally, some structuring know‑how. Deep understanding of the regulatory and accounting constraints of the client base. Excellent client relationships, market knowledge and insights into competitor offerings. Strong proven sales track record.
Fluency in German and English (written and oral) is essential. Personal Abilities / Competencies High organisational skills & strategic thinking. Being concise, synthetic and assertive. Strong analytical skills and aptitude for numbers with excellent attention to detail. Strong sales and negotiation skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to engage across business lines, management and control functions. Ability to build client relationships based on trust and professionalism. Flexible and adaptable. Capable of prioritising and organising tasks efficiently. Exemplary professional conduct.
