About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Destination Marketing Executive to promote Nelspruit and the surrounding Mpumalanga region as a premier tourist destination. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of marketing principles and a passion for showcasing the unique attractions of the area. You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns, forging partnerships, and increasing visitor numbers to the region. This is a key position focused on enhancing the visibility and appeal of Mpumalanga , requiring significant on-site engagement and collaboration with local tourism stakeholders, businesses, and government entities to drive economic growth through tourism, ensuring Nelspruit stands out as a vibrant travel hub.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies to promote Nelspruit and the Mpumalanga region.
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with tourism operators, airlines, and media outlets.
- Manage the creation of marketing collateral, including brochures, digital content, and promotional materials.
- Organize and participate in tourism trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events.

Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in destination marketing, tourism promotion, or a related field.
