Interim Country Manager Germany (Engineering Services) Germany (Munich area) | Immediate Start | Initial 6–12 Month Interim Assignment | Potential Permanent Opportunity For one of our international clients, we are seeking an Interim Country Manager Germany to manage and grow its German subsidiary.

Our client is an established international engineering services group supporting leading industrial companies operating in highly regulated sectors, including defence, aerospace, rail, and other complex industries.

The Role Reporting to the International Director, you will take full responsibility for the German subsidiary (approximately 10 employees), leading its commercial development, managing day-to-day operations, and driving its transformation to support sustainable growth.

This role combines strategic leadership with a strong hands‑on approach and requires a leader who is equally comfortable developing business, managing teams, and running a local operation. Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technical specialists.

Work closely with the international leadership team to align local execution with the Group's strategy. Experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams. The ability to operate autonomously within an international organization. Work closely with international leadership and influence the future direction of the business.

The German subsidiary is seeking an entrepreneurial leader to strengthen its market position, drive commercial performance, and ensure operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the German subsidiary with full operational and commercial responsibility. Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the German market.

Identify and secure new business opportunities within the defence, aerospace, space, rail, and other high‑tech industrial sectors. Expand existing customer relationships and build a sustainable sales pipeline. Manage the subsidiary's P&L and ensure financial performance.

Review the current organization and implement the changes required to support future growth. Your Profile You are an entrepreneurial business leader with a proven track record of growing engineering or technical services businesses in Germany. You bring: Experience leading a business unit, subsidiary, or SME with full P&L responsibility.

Strong business development experience within Germany's defence, aerospace, or other high‑tech industrial sectors. An established network among major industrial companies and key decision-makers.

A good understanding of engineering support services such as Integrated Logistics Support (ILS/LSA), technical documentation, safety engineering, maintenance engineering, or similar technical service activities. Native or fluent German and professional English. French would be considered an asset. Why Apply?
