Here at Workday, our Account Executives are key players in our Field Sales Operations organization.

This team is dedicated to guiding new customers on a journey that moves them from legacy platforms to our enterprise management cloud.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications 5+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud based ERP/HCM/Financial/Planning/Analytics solutions to C‑level executives from a field sales position. 5+ years of experience collaborating with internal teams (pre‑sales, value, inside sales) to achieve quota and run multiple deals at once. 5+ years of experience managing longer deal cycles, including prospecting for a portion of opportunities.

Prior experience partnering with internal team members on account strategies for short and long term prospecting and territory management. Teams are encouraged to spend at least 50% of their time each quarter in the office or in the field, while remaining flexible to meet business, team, and personal needs.

With a net new revenue focus, they are the fuel for Workday’s new customer growth. We partner with customers to craft relevant solutions that deliver lasting value. Responsibilities Develop strategy for prioritizing, targeting, and closing key opportunities in the assigned territory.

Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre‑sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment. Initiate and support sales of Workday solutions within large enterprise prospects and share the Workday value proposition.

Build relationships with net new customers, focusing on deal management and connecting them with Workday solutions, particularly core financials. Negotiate deals with a variety of C‑Suite executives to close opportunities. Maintain accurate and timely customer/prospect, pipeline, and service forecast data.

Other Qualifications Proven experience understanding the strategic competitive landscape of the industry by staying up to date with trends and customer needs so you can effectively position Workday solutions within accounts. Ability to quickly establish trust with key stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Workday Pay Transparency Statement The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location (USA.CA.San Francisco) are $134,200 USD – $201,300 USD. This role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan, a role‑specific commission/bonus, and annual refresh stock grants.

The total compensation package will be based on multiple factors including geography, experience, skills, and business need.
