Stellenbeschreibung

Studio Julian Charrière is looking for an intern to join the Director's Office in Berlin, starting as soon as possible.

Working closely with the Director's Office, you'll see first-hand how an internationally active artist's studio is run day to day. The role is varied. You'll handle communication with external partners and help with internal processes, content preparation, and administration. You'll also be involved in setting up the first programmes of Art for Nature, the artist's newly established foundation.

Tasks

  • Screening, prioritizing, and structuring incoming information
  • Carrying out delegated tasks and taking ownership of smaller projects
  • Coordinating tasks, deadlines, and team communication
  • Helping launch the first programs of Art for Nature, the artist's newly established foundation, including artist fellowships and nature conservation initiatives
  • Planning meetings from start to finish: room setup and materials beforehand, minutes during, follow-up afterward
  • Maintaining calendars, contacts, and the office's digital tools

Requirements

  • You are enrolled in a study or training programme that requires a mandatory internship (Pflichtpraktikum), ideally in art, cultural management, business administration, communications, or a related field
  • Or: you plan to complete a voluntary orientation internship (Orientierungspraktikum) of up to three months before starting vocational training or a degree in one of these fields

What you bring

  • You are reliable and discreet, and you think ahead
  • You are well organized and structured, and you work independently and take responsibility
  • You communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and in person
  • You are business-fluent in German and English
  • You are confident with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, and you have experience using AI tools in your daily work

Nice to have

  • InDesign and Photoshop skills
  • Some experience in a structured, project-based setting, such as an art or cultural institution, a communications agency, or a law firm

Benefits

  • Daily team lunch
  • Free beverages
  • Free snacks

Join our team and be part of one of the most exciting contemporary art studios today. We look forward to meeting you.
