Global VP Technology - Permanent

Experience of working in a medium sized fast growth tech / Software firm is a must.

Our mid sized technology client is looking for an accomplished technology leader to lead and further develop their global IT function across Hardware, Software/SAAS focused business units.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape their global IT strategy & operating model while ensuring secure, reliable and cost-effective services across Europe and North America. This is a highly visible role combining strategic leadership, operational excellence and continuous transformation.

Your impact will include:

• Leading and developing a geographically distributed IT organisation
• Evolving infrastructure, workplace technology and enterprise applications
• Strengthening cybersecurity, resilience, governance and risk management
• Prioritising technology investments and managing budgets and strategic partners
• Identifying practical opportunities in automation, AI and emerging technology
• Balancing Group-wide standards and shared capabilities with legitimate business-specific needs

What you’ll bring:

• Significant senior IT leadership experience in an international, multi-site organisation
• A strong record across infrastructure, cloud, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, identity and access management, integration and IT service management
• Experience modernising complex technology environments and leading distributed teams
• Commercial judgement, executive-level communication skills and a focus on measurable business value
