We are looking for candidates with recent experience in the German pharmaceuticals or life sciences sector, with a strong background in FP&A and a solid foundation in accounting and controllership.
This role presents a significant opportunity for an ambitious finance professional driven to contribute to establishing a country finance function while providing financial and strategic guidance to support the company’s growth and vision. Responsibilities: Develop the finance, FP&A, and administrative framework to support the business.
Act as a finance business partner for the local executive and key contact for the region’s finance. Lead and manage the strategic planning process, including financial forecasts and budgets. Work with operations to develop and manage P&Ls and investigate variances. Prepare analysis and presentations for regional and corporate management.
Review the plan to ensure management buy-in; provide guidelines, assumptions, and targets. Assist European Accounting in establishing US GAAP, statutory, and local reporting. Use third-party payroll and accounting service providers. Manage all audit reviews, including internal audits, US GAAP, local GAAP, and SOX. Assist w
