We are looking for an experienced finance leader for a demanding senior management role in a complex international industrial environment. The position is responsible for the Finance Project Management, including the strategic development of project financial steering and the leadership of finance project teams.

Experience working with senior management, regional leadership bodies, and cross‑functional project teams. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to develop finance teams, provide direction, and actively drive change processes.

Ability to work effectively in an international matrix organisation, demonstrating teamwork, integrity, initiative, and a strong results orientation.

Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and further develop the finance organization within the defined area of responsibility, including direct leadership of finance project managers. Acting as a key Finance Business Partner to VP Project and Execution.

Take responsibility for project controlling, with a focus on reliable financial data, profitability, cash optimisation, and the early identification of financial risks. Actively challenge and assess project financial data to support sound management decisions and keep projects financially under control.

Oversee controlling from tendering through to cash collection, including financial support, challenge, validation, risk assessment, and follow‑up of long‑term project commitments. Manage budgeting processes, forecasts, and consolidated financial planning in line with management expectations.

Ensure compliant reporting in accordance with corporate requirements and provide transparent preparation of financial results. Present financial results to regional senior management and finance leadership. Take responsibility for project financing, cash management, and measures to improve financial competitiveness.

Providing finance expertise and contributing to business evaluation. Drive process optimisation, core model alignment, and the effective deployment of group tools, methodologies, and organisational improvements across the finance function.

Contribute to the finance and business strategy within the area of responsibility as a strategic partner to management. Profile Master’s degree, business school qualification, MBA, or equivalent academic background in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field. Fluent English and German are mandatory.

Strong technical finance background across accounting, project controlling, site controlling, financial planning, reporting, cash management, and project financing. Good understanding of financing topics and specialist knowledge such as hedging, IFRS 15, bonding, and project funding is a strong advantage.

Proven ability to critically analyse financial data, prepare management decisions, and derive strategic courses of action. Very good understanding of industrial cost structures, overhead controlling, and measures to improve competitiveness.
