JBAndrews is partnering with a leading transport and logistics organisation to recruit an Executive Director – Heavy & Special Transport.
The Role
Reporting directly to the COO, you will:
• Lead a multi-site heavy and special transport operation across Germany.
• Drive operational excellence, efficiency, and performance across multiple branches.
• Develop and implement standardised processes and best practices throughout the network.
• Lead, coach, and develop site and regional management teams.
• Ensure consistent service delivery, compliance, and operational standards.
• Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
• Support the strategic growth and scalability of the operation.
The Requirements
• Proven senior leadership experience within heavy transport, special transport, project logistics, or a related sector.
• Demonstrated success managing multi-site operations and large operational teams.
• Strong expertise in process optimisation, operational performance, and continuous improvement.
• A hands-on leadership style with the ability to influence and drive change.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• High willingness to travel across Germany.
• Fluent German and English language skills preferred.
