Job Description Overview *the role is based in our Dusseldorf office on a hybrid working pattern (in office and remote) \n \n PURPOSE OF ROLE (WHAT IS REQUIRED OF THE JOBHOLDER TO ACCOMPLISH): \n \n To generate new business opportunities for Mount Street as well as enabling other team members to successfully generate new business for the group, with a particular focus on Portfolio Management mandates \n \n \n RESPONSIBLE FOR: \n \n Management of the Business Development and Placement Services teams \n New Business Development & Generation for MS group \n \n CORE RESPONSIBILITIES (FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES): \n \n Client Relationship \n \n Establish new client relationships for the Mount Street group \n Maintain existing client relationships \n \n \n Business Generation \n \n Develop business opportunities and market these opportunities to clients/client groups \n Interact with group marketing team and provide guidance on Portfolio Management specific initiatives and services \n Support new business infrastructure set-up \n Support MS group units with New Business generation and onboarding \n Develop new business lines for MS group \n Identify business opportunities, prepare marketing materials & decks and manage client communication & follow ups \n Establish a regular communication process with the business unit heads to understand on which products and strategies they are working and how best to support marketing efforts and priorities. \n Provide aid with the organising and coordinating of the signing of contractual agreements \n \n \n SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES \n \n New Business Generation \n \n Broad range of knowledge of the full product range, which MS group offers \n Very good understanding about the potential client’s business in order to prepare on the spot presentations/marketing material and client offers \n Sound understanding of MS pricing policy \n Negotiating skills in client meetings \n Very good presentation skills \n Ability to represent MS in external client meetings \n Strong client network \n Good knowledge of international legal systems/documentation, economics and accounting standards \n Team player within Portfolio Management and across MS group; flexible; ability to work independently and across locations; well organised; able to prioritise and meet deadlines; ability to work proactively in a team, help colleagues, provide direction \n Keep up to date knowledge, skills and markets \n Ability to work in a multicultural and international environment \n \n \n ESSENTIAL APPROVED PERSONS EXAMINATIONS \n \n N/A \n \n \n PROFESSIONAL EXAMINATIONS REQUIRED \n \n Banking / University degree (honours) \n Post grade qualification \n \n \n OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED, ESSENTIAL OR DESIRED: \n \n Fluent in German and English language \n \n \n WHEN ABSENT FROM THE OFFICE ROLE WILL BE COVERED BY: \n \n Various team members \n
