Location Northern Germany Position The Board Member Sales & Marketing (m/f/d) assumes the following responsibilities: Full responsibility for the sales and marketing strategy across assigned product categories and for the company as a whole.
Development of market‑entry strategies for new regions in close cooperation with Marketing, Product Management, and external partners. Leading negotiations with key accounts, major customers, and strategic partners. Monitoring market and competitive developments and deriving strategic recommendations.
Close collaboration with Marketing, Product Development, Logistics, and Customer Service to ensure optimal market execution. Reporting directly to the CEO and/or Supervisory Board. Requirements and Personal Profile Professional Requirements University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Strong intellectual capabilities and strategic thinking skills. Solid experience within medium‑sized companies and entrepreneurial environments. Proven experience in establishing effective leadership and organizational structures.
Several years of operational and strategic sales or category management experience, ideally within smart‑home, consumer electronics, energy technology, or related industries. Excellent project management capabilities. Outstanding negotiation and communication skills at executive and board level.
Strong analytical mindset combined with a results‑oriented approach. Fluency in German and English; additional languages are advantageous. Entrepreneurial mindset and business acumen. Strong customer orientation and market understanding. Ability to influence and negotiate effectively. Affinity for innovation, technology, and digital transformation.
