• Provide leadership and oversight to multiple projects and project teams simultaneously • Collaborate with engineering, project controls, finance and field operations on project planning, organization and direction • Manage assigned projects with bottom-line profit accountability • Review and negotiate complex contracts with clients, subcontractors and suppliers • Review and approve project schedules, estimates, budgets and profit margins • Make executive decisions on critical work aspects involving significant cost and risk impacts • Lead complex change management events involving owners, subcontractors and regulating entities • Support business development, estimating and services departments • Hire, train and mentor project team members • Develop standards and processes to improve the business • Lead scheduling, cost control, quantity tracking, procurement, client satisfaction, jobsite needs and work activities • Build relationships with owners, engineers and subcontractors while preserving contractual rights • Maintain accurate management reporting, including cost forecasts and estimated cost at completion • Oversee project billings, cash flow and aged receivables collection • Present and negotiate change orders with owners • Lead and document project update meetings with clients and internal stakeholders • Identify project needs, develop scopes of work and hire third parties • Coordinate material suppliers and resolve logistical and supply-chain challenges • Review contract conditions and ensure compliance • Supervise documentation of accidents, delays and change orders • Manage project risks and prepare mitigation plans • Ensure jobsite office networking services are set up • Enforce SOLV safety standards and OSHA policies • Promote company values, culture and professional representation Requirements • Minimum 10 years of work-related experience in design and/or construction of utility or commercial/industrial infrastructure projects • Direct relevant industry experience preferred, with knowledge related to construction and operation of electrical equipment and installation • Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting • Leadership ability to organize diverse team members into a cohesive, high-performing project team in a remote environment • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills • Ability to work, analyze, troubleshoot and prioritize problems independently • Effective written and verbal English communication skills • Proficiency and knowledge in office practices, procedures and equipment • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and coordinate • P6 scheduling experience preferred • Ability to meet physical demands including lifting 50 or more lbs • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future Core Competencies Demonstrates extensive leadership in managing complex construction projects, with a strong focus on contract negotiation, project accounting, and team development.
