About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced E-sports Tournament Director to manage and execute online tournaments remotely. You will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, organization, and execution of competitive gaming events, ensuring a smooth and fair experience for all participants. This role is perfect for individuals with a deep passion for e-sports and a proven track record in event management, contributing to the growing competitive gaming landscape from anywhere in the world, including originating from Bloemfontein.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and oversee all aspects of e-sports tournaments, from registration to finals.
• Develop and enforce tournament rules, regulations, and code of conduct.
• Manage online platforms and communication channels for players, referees, and staff.
• Coordinate with game developers and publishers for licensing and technical support.
• Ensure timely and accurate prize distribution to winners.
• Oversee broadcast production, including commentators, streaming, and player interviews.

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing and directing online e-sports tournaments or similar digital events.
• Deep understanding of various e-sports titles, game mechanics, and competitive scenes.
• Excellent organizational, logistical, and problem-solving skills.
