The position reports to the Vice President of Operations and serves as the global functional owner for Supply Chain Management and Purchasing.What you will do:Develop and implement a global Supply Chain and Purchasing strategyDrive significant improvements in OTD, lead times, and overall supply chain performanceLead global planning, purchasing, logistics, and supplier development activitiesDefine make‑or‑buy strategies, supplier footprint, and supply risk mitigation plansOptimize cost, inventory levels, service levels, and working capitalLead and develop international supply chain teams across multiple manufacturing sitesPartner cross‑functionally with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Finance, Sales, and R&DEstablish clear KPIs, governance structures, and executive reportingAct as escalation point for critical supply, delivery, or supplier risksWhat we are looking for:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field; MBA preferred10–15+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management within a manufacturing environmentProven leadership experience in global, multi‑site organizationsStrong background in purchasing, planning, logistics, and supplier managementDemonstrated success in driving transformation with measurable improvements in delivery, lead time, and costStrong strategic mindset combined with hands‑on executionData‑driven, financially oriented decision makingDemonstrated ability and willingness to useAItools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs.

The role is responsible for defining and executing a robust, scalable, and resilient supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives, customer requirements, and the AMETEK operating model. A key focus is the sustainable improvement of On‑Time Delivery (OTD), lead time reduction, and optimization of cost, inventory, and working capital.
